So, I just wanted to make a small summary of what is going on in my small artistic and personal life lately, because there are few pretty cool news and I thought it would be nice to share them with you guys!
Illustrated boys love novel
First of all, a while ago I started my work for an artist called SawyerLoki. She's a writer but as I saw she also draws her own stuff. Eiri works on a boys love novel which she's planning to publish and since pretty wide part of the story will be heavily illustrated, she chose me to be the artist who will put her ideas on paper. It's a pretty big project and for now we passed the stage of illustrating character's designs (such a bunch of sexy guys, I tell ya) and I'm about to start working on a cover picture in next few days. I'm really excited for this cooperation since illustrating books was always some kind of small wish of mine and you know, it's a pretty nice step forward! I'll inform you about the progress and any news according the book!
My art print on incoming Kickstarter project
On the other note viralremix is working her kickstarter project (which supposed to run around November - December) of her RP and art related webpage and hired me to make a print design as one of the backer rewards! viralremix works on turning her fantastic RP groupinto a website based around RPing and art stuff. I've never saw such thing, not saying about such a huge commitment and honestly it's another thing what makes me super excited. I'm sketching the picture right now, working hard to make sure that it will totally blow your mind! I'll keep you informed about progress of this project as well!
Reize in Valdis Story
Speaking of kickstarter, Seizui just sent me a note with a fantastic news. His amazing character, Reize, is in a video game now and he is considered one of the most useful assist characters in-game! The game we're talking about is called Valdis Story and was one of the successful projects from Kickstarter. I worked for Seizui many times illustrating parts of Reize's history and such, you can find these works here:
Reize is really dear to me, i feel like his aunt hahaha and again I absolutely respect Seizui for such a commitment and skill of creating such well designed story and character. It's really amazing to see this baby in a game, especially that I remember like yesterday that we talked with Seizui about how cool it would be to make a game about him. Well it surely is a nice step forward, good job Seizui!
